Step 1. Adjust color settings (Windows)
Change the color theme
- From the control panel select software program, select the Print option.
- Select your product from the list, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.
- Click the Advanced button and select a color theme from the Color Themes drop-down list.
- Note: No color theme is used.

- Vivid/sRGB:
- Photo (sRGB):
- Photo (Adobe RGB 1998)
- Click OK to close the Advanced settings
- Now again click the OK button to close the Document Properties box. In the Print dialog box, press the OK button to print the job.
Change the color options
- From the control panel select software program, select the Print option.
- Select your product from the list, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.
- Click the Paper/Quality tab and in the Color section, select Black & White or Color.
- Click OK to close the Document Properties.
- In the Print dialog box, press the OK button to print the job.
Step 2. Print a cleaning page
LCD control panel
- From the control panel screen, press the Setup button.
- Open the Service menu and select the Cleaning mode option, and then press the OK button.
- The device prints the first side and then prompts you to remove the page from the output bin and reload it in Tray 1, repeat the same until the process is complete.
Step 3. Inspect the toner cartridge for damage
- Remove the toner cartridges, and check that the sealing tape has been removed.
- Check the memory chips for damage.
- Do not touch the roller of the cartridge. Fingerprints on the roller can cause printing problems.
- If you see any scratches, fingerprints, or other damage on the roller, replace the cartridge with a new one.
- If the roller is not damaged, rock the toner cartridges gently several times and reinstalled them.
- Now print a few pages to see if the problem has resolved or not.
